Policies

 

  • Refunds

    • Non-Refundable: Once enrolled, fees for classes and camps are strictly non-refundable.

    • Missed Classes/Camps: We cannot offer refunds or class credits if your child misses a class by choice. However, if a camp session is missed due to illness, a makeup class will be provided during the following term.

    • Unforeseen Closures: If we are forced to cancel classes due to unexpected circumstances, we will arrange makeup sessions instead of refunds.

  • Credits (Medical Leave)

    • If your child needs more than 3 weeks to recover from an illness or injury, we will issue a credit note for the missed classes.

    • Requirement: A valid medical certificate must be provided.

    • Usage: Credits can be applied toward the following term.

  • Makeup Class Policy

    • We do our best to accommodate makeup requests, but because most of our classes are full, makeup spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed. If a spot isn't immediately available, we will add your child to the waitlist for your preferred class and notify you if a space opens up.

    • Limit: Any absence, sickness or by choice,  1 makeup class per student, per term.

    • Autumn Term allows 2 makeup classes per Term, if enrolled before Mid Term Break.

    • School Holidays: We cannot offer extra makeup lessons to cover differing school term dates or holidays.

    • Attendance: If you book a makeup class and miss it, the class cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Camps Policy

    • Non-Refundable: Once enrolled, camp fees are non-refundable.

    • Sick Leave & Makeups: If your child misses a camp session due to illness, a makeup session can be arranged. To qualify, you must submit a doctor's note and notify us at least 3 hours before the camp starts.

  • Uniform Policy

    • Gymnasts Required Attire: Students in Recreational and Competitive Team must wear the official Flipping Kids uniform and Flipping Kids gymnastics grip socks. Uniforms or leotards from other clubs are not permitted.

    • Competitive Team Gymnasts: Should  wear the official sleeveless training leotard for training sessions. For Competitions, our  long sleeved leotard with matching scrunchie is a requirement. Hair must be secured neatly OFF the face in a tight secure bun.

    • Hair for all Gymnasts: As presentation is part of Gymnastics, hair should be tied back and secured neatly off the face.

    • If your uniform hasn't arrived yet, your child may wear a plain leotard or comfortable sports clothes.

    • Shorts & Leggings: If your child prefers extra coverage over their leotard, official Gym Shorts are available for purchase at the front desk. Plain dark blue or black long leggings are permitted.

    • Parkour Required Attire: Students should wear the Flipping Kids T shirt, and shorts or track pants of their choice. Trainers are required.

  • Bad Weather Policy - Classes & Camps RUN AS USUAL for:

    • Typhoon Signal No. 1 or 3

    • Amber or Red Rainstorm Warnings

    • Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warnings that are lowered at least 2 hours before class starts.

    • Classes & Camps CANCELLED for:

    • Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning in effect within 2 hours of class.

    • Weather Rescheduling & Refunds:

    • Set Reschedule Date: If class is cancelled due to severe weather, we will offer a single SET date for a makeup session. ( We apologise if we cannot accommodate everyone’s schedule)

    • No Refunds or Alternative Options: Due to full class schedules, we cannot offer multiple makeup dates, carry credits to the next term, or issue refunds for weather cancellations. Thank you for your understanding!(PLEASE NOTE: Canceling Classes due to BAD WEATHER AND TYPHOONS is an unfortunate situation for all parties, and it is difficult to reschedule so many classes. However, we will do our very best to provide an option that will work for the majority of our students.  Please come on the SET DATE options that we offer.  As our classes are usually full, we cannot give multiple options or carry makeup lessons or Camps to the next term. And we cannot offer any refunds. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING)
